Lilly Steiner was a portrait and landscape painter and graphic artist in Paris. From 1899 to 1904, she studied at the Vienna Art School for Women and Girls in the class of Ludwig Michalek. Her works can be found inter alia in the collections of the Vienna Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde/Society of Friends of Music (portrait of Alban Berg) and the Albertina Vienna.
