This piece of furniture with its clear lines, designed at the Hoffmann school of the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts in 1900, shows us how master and student mutually inspire each other. There probably were a number of designs like this with, naturally, variations. Thus, the piece we are showing differs from the design drawing in the fittings and proportions.
