Viennese silverware manufacturer
From 1881 to 1920, Eduard Friedmann was an important Viennese silverware manufacturer. From 1903, his premises were located at 20 Gumpendorferstraße, where he employed some 36 workers in 1914. From 1909 to 1914, he participated regularly in the annual exhibitions of Austrian arts and crafts at the Imperial Royal Austrian Museum of Art and Industry, the present-day MAK (Museum of Applied Arts). From 1922 to 1922, M.L. Gaspardi was in charge of running the business.
