Johnsdorf (Moravia) 1845 – 1901 Lussingrande

From 1860, Eugen Jettel studied at the Vienna Academy under Albert Zimmermann, together with Emil Jakob Schindler, Rudolf Ribarz and Robert Ruß. He continued his artistic training In Paris, where he lived from 1873 to 1895. From 1898 he was a member of the Vienna Secession. He travelled through France, Hungary, and Italy. From 1895, he was mainly active in Vienna and the surrounding area as well as in Istria.
