Painter, graphic artist and illustrator. Studied in Vienna at the ABK and from 1906 at the KGS (R. Larisch, C. O. Czeschka, Löffler). Worked for the publishing house of the Rosenbaum brothers, 1910-1914 he lived in Switzerland and worked for different publishing houses in Zurich and Brussels. Stayed in Bethlis, Switzerland, until 1919. 1941 appointed professor at the KGS in Budapest. Designed posters and signets, illustrated a number of books and magazines, for WW he created postcards, bookplates, illustrations, wine labels and covers.
