Designs of pupils of the School of Prof. Josef Hoffmann were submitted to the exhibition of the "Wiener Kunst im Hause" [Viennese Art in the Home] Association with the motto "Einfache Möbel" [Simple Furniture] that are still without peer.
The bedroom ensemble by Franz Messner, which we showed in Maastricht in 2013, comes from the same Viennese haute bourgeoisie home as the library ensemble we are now showing (see also cat. no. 7).
