In numerous of his interior designs, Adolf Loos used such room dividers tailored to the specific spatial conditions.  As early as 1902, Loos used room dividers of this type for the furnishings designed for Dr. Hugo Haberfeld and Gustav Turnovsky, and in 1903 for Georg and Else Weiss’ music room. The formal language of our room divider is closely related to Loos' furnishings of the extension of Gustav Turnovsky's smoking room in 1912.
