This umbrella and walking stick stand—made around 1900 in Vienna—is impressive because of its clear lines, its exceptional craftsmanship and its characteristic surface ornamentation. All of these together suggest the authorship of a student of the Wiener Kunstgewerbeschule [Vienna School of Arts and Crafts].
